KIDS PROGRAM, AGES 4 TO 9

Most sports assume coordination. This one builds it.

Kids build real athleticism and real character here, through specific drills and the discipline it takes to repeat them. One month to see it for yourself, ages 4 to 9.

Why so many Portland families call this the best youth program around.

Three things, every time, on purpose.

Athleticism, built one drill at a time

Every class runs kicking combinations, footwork patterns, balance work, and target drills. That's where coordination and body control actually come from, the same base layer of movement other sports assume kids already have.

Character, built the same way as a kick

Bowing in. Holding a stance a few seconds longer than last week. Waiting a turn in line. Repeating a form until it's right. Patience, respect, and self control come from doing those things over and over, the same way a kick becomes real.

Instructors who've done this at both ends

Our instructors were competitive athletes themselves before they ever taught a class, and they've spent the last twelve plus years teaching kids, several of whom went on to become national champions. Every one of them holds Kukkiwon Black Belt certification, Taekwondo's official governing body in Korea, the same standard that shapes how the sport is taught at every level, including the Olympics. It's why a five year old's first kick gets the same attention as an athlete getting ready for a title.

FROM PORTLAND PARENTS
"W1 has been incredible for my son. He needed discipline and a way to control his emotions better, and the classes have instilled that over the last two years. The training also helps him in his other sports. He has gained great flexibility, balance, and explosiveness. Master Adrian and team are the best."
